Istorya means story in Tagalog, Hiligaynon and Bisaya. The word has the same meaning in all three major languages in the Philippines. What does that mean? Simple. It shows that whatever language we use, we are the same and we are passionate about common things. One of them is the penchant to talk. We are passionate in discussing things, we get involve in social issues, and we are aggressive in letting others know our thoughts. That is why social networking is a staple in our day to day routine.
To cater this need, I just felt like creating this blog. I wanted to post stories of just anything under the sun. Be it fiction or non-fiction, a story my mom used to tell me, the story of the two people talking beside me in the jeepney or simply the story that popped out on my head from nowhere. Just anything.
